LOS ANGELES – January 21, 2020 – BrandJump has announced that it is adding more power to its Merchandising and Operations team with the creation of a new position - Senior Ecommerce Operations Manager. Peter Baldwin, who has been with BrandJump since 2017 and had previously served as Merchandising Manager, has been promoted to the new role and will report to Shelly Jones-Jackson, Director of Merchandising and Operations.

In this role, Baldwin will ensure BrandJump clients are efficiently and effectively interfacing with their internet retail customers by helping them adhere to each retailer’s unique operational and fulfillment requirements. Although each client manufacturer is responsible for managing their own daily transactional and operational processes such as order processing and fulfillment, Baldwin will be responsible for helping to develop best practices and for providing insights to drive stellar performance.

“Ecommerce in home furnishings is evolving daily, and the formulas for success with internet retailers are becoming increasingly complex,” said Baldwin. “Knowing the ins and outs of each [retailer] across different categories, presents a unique opportunity for me to help brands navigate the changing landscape and enhance their operational performance.”

Baldwin will be analyzing retailers’ monthly scorecards and reporting out to clients on a regular cadence utilizing tools available in numerous internet retailer portals. He will be focused on metrics related to various KPIs including fill rates, lead times and returns. As existing retailers perfect their portal-based modules and other retailers debut these important tools, Baldwin will bridge the gap between retailer and manufacturer to keep BrandJump’s clients current and competitive in the ever-changing ecommerce landscape.

“We anticipate that Peter and his new role will help our clients gain and maintain a competitive edge because manufacturers are being challenged to continuously reinvent their processes,” said BrandJump CEO Josh Walter. “This role is centered around providing enterprise insights and driving business results using operational analytics, a growing need for our clients."
